Available configurations
Short
Block
Essential engine version: includes the block, pistons, connecting rods and crankshaft. The absolute core — without peripheral components. Recommended when the head, camshaft and accessories are in good condition and can be reused.
Long
Block
Beyond short block components, includes the cylinder head, camshaft, valves and oil sump. Closer to a complete engine — used when damaged or worn components need replacing.
